Want to view BBC iPlayer whilst you’re on tour abroad? Tunnel Bear is the simplest solution I’ve seen so far. It works with Macs, PCs, iOS devices and Android and is very easy to use. There is a free version available which gives you 500mb per month and they have a Twitter promo running at the moment that adds an extra 1gig.
The app gives you a selection of countries to choose from to make it appear you are elsewhere, so not only can you access the BBC iPlayer, but also Channel 4 Player, ITV Player and any other service or website that requires you to be (or appear to be) in the UK, the US or any of the other included countries.
