Bring Your Dog To Work Day
Organised by HOWND, Bring Your Dog To Work Day, is an annual event that raises money for dog welfare charities. All proceeds from this year’s event, which was held on the 26th June 2015, went to All Dogs Matter, a wonderful UK dog rescue and re-homing charity based in London and Norfolk.
I wasn’t actually working on the 26th, but I really wanted to take part, so I decided that as an individual sponsor, I would still contribute by taking “Georgie Girl” into work the day after, whilst I was at the famous Madison Square Garden in New York.
“GG” loved the visit and all the fuss that was made of her, and I’m sure she brightened up the day for many, as she certainly did for me. She particularly seemed to enjoy laying down on top of my Allen & Heath iLive mixing desk and various other flight cases. Many thanks to Mitch for organising the visit and to all at MSG for their understanding and assistance.
This is only the second year of Bring Your Dog To Work Day in the UK, but hopefully it will grow and grow, and I look forward to taking part again.
